Alan Leuluai, who owns the Anytime Fitness gym in Manukau, is offering 12 weeks of free access to his gym for 100 locals.

Leuluai believes high costs are a barrier that stop people from getting into fitness. A membership at Anytime Fitness costs $17 a week.

Would you be encouraged to join a gym if membership costs were reduced?
