Veteran from anti-racism rally shares life lessons

Hi neighbours, a veteran credits his daughter for teaching him the importance of love, empathy and compassion. John Sato, 95, made headlines for taking part in a rally against racism and he recently met Jacinda Ardern. Sato's daughter, Anne, died last year and he said she taught him a "great deal". The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.

This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)

Dead cat

Salima from Goodwood Heights

I saw a dead cat on Everglade Drive this morning near the crossing of Keri Anne place. It had been placed near the pavement. Black and white colour. Young. Did not look like it had been dead too long. If you know anyone who is looking for a cat, please inform.
