Arthur Street, Ellerslie Update
Hi everyone, some of you will have noticed police presence in Ellerslie this morning. This was directly related to the incident that happened last Friday on Arthur Street.
I have spoken to the Police Area Commander and received an updated.
The key things for our community to know are:
1. The people involved with Friday's events were known to each other so it was not a random incident.
2. The firearms related to the incident have been recovered.
3. Police are actively working their way through what happened.
I have also been on the phone with Kainga Ora and expect to be in communication with them more throughout the day. If there are any further updates I will touch base again.
