Have you noticed it is a little cleaner this week in the village?

Thanks to your local community members who volunteered with us at our Mangere Bridge Village Town Centre Clean-up last Saturday.

Check out the image with all the rubbish bags being taken away!!

With so many helpers we completed our tasks in a record time. Thank you all for coming out in the middle of winter to give back to your community centre. 💛

Shout out to Mangere Bridge Village Town Centre Manager Kate Adams - who sponsored all the treats and rewards for our volunteers.

Plus our partners at City Care and Civic, Managere-Otahuhu Local Board, Mangere Village Business Association and Auckland Council.

Not every pair of jeans makes it to the rack... but that doesn’t mean their story ends there. Our talented volunteer Annie has been transforming damaged denim into handcrafted bags, hats and aprons in our Onehunga SPCA Op Shop ✂️🧵

This latest batch even features her own hand-sewn designs, and customers have been loving them, they sell almost as soon as they hit the shelf!

It’s creativity, sustainability and community all stitched together, helping animals in need 🐾
