A friendly reminder to please drive safely over the summer break.

Yesterday, there was another horrific crash at the corner of Victoria and Church Street in Onehunga. One car reportedly flew through the air and landed on its side.

Thankfully everybody involved is safe, but this severe accident serves as a timely reminder for everyone to keep safe on our roads, particularly as road layouts change.

Construction of the roundabout resumes on December 26th. During this second phase of construction, the intersection will be fully closed. Detours will be in place, but access to properties will be maintained.

I think we can all agree the roundabout cannot come quick enough!

For any project related questions, please contact site manager Gareth Jones on 027 403 1551 or my office on 0800 DENISEMP.

On a more serious note. Could people without disabled parking permits please not park in disabled parking spots. Disabled people do have lives and need those parking spots so please be mindful. I shop late in the evening sometimes and do you think I can get a disabled park outside Countdown Manukau?! Not on your life!! That is year round!! There may be 2 cars with disabled permits the rest are not permitted. Thank you all for being understanding and considerate in the future to those less fortunate than the able bodied.

I contacted Toyco through email and they ask for the photo of the ticket which I have sent but no response. I tried to call them but no response again. By any chance anyone knows Jocke in Mount Wellington? Its close to christmas and it could be someone's christmas present so I am trying to find the person here while still waiting to hear back from toyco.
Update! Found the owner of the parcel 👍
