My latest flower/coffee post. πŸ˜ƒ

Sharon from Te Atatu South

*YUM!!!!!!!!* πŸ˜ƒ A turmeric latte (Photo 1), a HOT coffee as I'm (or was!) a bit cold - it's a bit rainy and windy outside, and my Double Delight rose is pink with a yellow centre, NOT WHITE, but you can't see properly in the lighting (photos 2 & 3), and YES, I'm slightly mad, I was photographing in the rain. πŸ˜ƒ Photo 4, forget-me-nots in my flower garden, and photo 5, a rather pretty purple weed in my lawn by my flower bed that looks like lavender, hence why I call it Lawn Lavender, and LOOK at how big my pumpkin patch has grown! (Photo 6.) I have at least three larger ones (that I'm sure will become BIG ones!) and quite a lot of smaller ones growing, and red and yellow dahlias in my garden (photos 7-9), and my barrels, positioned under a conveniently positioned leaky gutter (that I hope the landlord won't fix anytime soon!) are nice and full (photo 10), I think I'm going to have to empty them into my IBC behind them if this rain keeps going - that's the white cube-shaped thing behind them that has a steel tubing cage around it, like you see on farms and in crop fields etc. I have two, they hold 1000 litres each.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need πŸͺ™πŸ’°πŸͺ™

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship β€” like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?

Outdated 'Recent Notices in New Zealand'

Fiona from Henderson

Can anyone here or from Neighbourly.co.nz please explain to me why we have the so called ''Recent Notices in New Zealand' a.k.a. death notices tab here on Neighbourly when if fact, the most recent death notice is from 2023?
I don't know if anyone has used this tab recently, if ever, I only used when looking for a friend's recent death notice.
If this isn't going to be updated or in fact be what they say it is, 'Recent Notices in New Zealand', then please replace it with something we can all access with up to date information, maybe bring back the groups option - just a thought.
Any ideas people?
