A couple have been left out of pocket after being granted visas to visit New Zealand, only to be told by immigration authorities there had been an “error” and warned they could be deported if they tried to use it.

Stuff understands Immigration New Zealand mistakenly granted 115 visas and are now assessing whether to grant refunds to people who had booked flights and accomodation before Immigration realised their mistake.

Jawed and Rizwana Qazi had planned to fly from Pakistan to visit family in West Auckland in April and were “happy” to have been granted visitor visas, valid for a year.

We asked, listened, and collaborated directly with farmers in the making of this gear. We tested and re-tested in on-farm environments. We re-engineered what farming workwear can be with your needs front of mind. We brought our decades of experience creating world-class performance gear. Add to that a legacy of Kiwi innovation, a challenger spirit and a practical attitude that’s been part of Line 7 since we started back in 1963.

Every detail has been reviewed and refined – without overlooking the obvious. Breathable, flexible, functional and comfortable, while still being supremely durable and waterproof. Made to fit farmers of all shapes and sizes, with a dedicated range for women. Built to last, and last a bit longer still, with an included repair kit that means you can fix it up quickly yourself.

Now take it out there, try it on and put it to the test. Wear it out and wear it again. We’re pretty damn confident you won’t be disappointed.

All Together Now community choir - Auckland Central (Grey Lynn) - open workshop performance

4 to 6 pm, Sunday 30 April 2023 (yes, sorry - very short notice!) - TODAY!
Venue: Mt Albert Grammar School, (main hall)
Small charge of $5 per person, cover costs – cash only, sorry no eftpos –

We’ll sing some songs (singing some really beautiful lovely songs) – and then you all have the opportunity, if you want, to sing some sings WITH us (or, just sit & relax, and enjoy!)

Come along and listen and - if you would like to - you can even join in. We'll teach some easy songs, to give you an idea of what it would be like to sing in one of our choirs!

Come and join us - $5 (cash) at the door. Sorry, no eftpos.

Some parking may be available in school grounds, but there's always plenty on the street.

Our new Auckland Central (Owairaka) choir opens on this week: 2 May (7:15pm to 9:15pm (Tuesdays at Mt Albert Grammar)

this is our 6th All Together Now community choir - Auckland Central (Grey Lynn), Auckland Central (Owairaka) - Auckland East - Hobsonville - Tauranga - Taupo

NO AUDITIONS! - We believe that singing is a learned skill, that almost everyone can acquire with a little effort and some good teaching.

Lots of people have grown up believing that they can’t sing, because of experiences they’ve had or things that have been said to them. There are many reasons why this happens, but we have seen over and over again that with good guidance and the right environment, people can find their way into singing.

Our community choirs aim to create an environment where people aged 16+ can find support, skills and encouragement to learn to sing well. We don’t promise it will be effortless but we do promise to do everything we can to support our singers.

Our Choir Leaders are all music graduates, and are either professionals working in the choral and vocal fields, or have years of experience of singing in choirs.
