65-year-old living in cabin faces five month wait for flood-hit home repairs
Four months on from the Auckland Anniversary floods, the Beggs family are still waiting for repairs to begin on their home, in the meantime they are living in small cabins on the property.
Catherine Beggs and her family were forced to swim to safety in waist-deep water on the night of January 27.
They returned home the following day to find they had lost all their belongings in the deluge - including their recently-renovated home in Mt Roskill.
