Is a wide Gap between front teeth really cute?

Loyola from Caring 4 Smiles Dental Group

Growth and development of the face sometimes leaves a minor blemish in a Smile. It is not natural to have a wide gap between front teeth BUT, and if a dentist catches this early ( by age 9 ), it can be helped to close correctly.
-
Leaving the gap through teenage years pushes the remaining teeth further apart and to correct the gap at a later age can be an expensive option / braces / veneers.
-
In some cultures, a gap is a sign of "Good Luck" and "Fortune", but for the most of us, it is an unsightly presentation and makes us self-conscious.
-
If your child is developing a wide gap in the front teeth, do come in for a chat to know what can be done to correct this. Call us on 09-6315416 or email caring4smiles@gmail.com for an appointment.
