The Daren Life Society Inc.'s FREE Community Services Program is back at Epsom Community Centre for 2025!

This year, they are offering:
• Appliance Repair
• Clothes Sewing & Mending
• Hairdressing
• Calligraphy
• Maximizing Resource Utilization

A new chatting area has also been set up, providing a welcoming space to connect and make new friends.

Many have benefited from these services, making daily life easier and more convenient. With more volunteers joining, the program continues to support as many people as possible.

Daren Life Society Inc. remains committed to helping the community in practical ways. If you or someone you know could benefit, we encourage you to book in advance as spaces are limited.

Auckland Harbour Bridge summer works

NZ Transport Agency (NZTA)

NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi is carrying out essential maintenance on the Auckland Harbour Bridge this December and January. The southbound clip-on lanes will be closed (24/7) from 26 December to 5 January for road resurfacing. Night-time lane restrictions will be in place throughout the summer for recoating work on the bridge. Traffic will still be able to travel in both directions at all times. Find out more
