You are invited to the Pest Free Kaipātiki AGM
We warmly invite all members and supporters to our PFK Annual General Meeting. Please come and celebrate what we have achieved together over this past year!
With the current restrictions in Auckland due to COVID-19, we will be holding it online and we'd love for you to join us!
The formal proceedings will be followed by our guest speaker, Philip Moll, who will be speaking on ‘Defending Safe Habitat - Keeping our Estuaries Safe for Wildlife’ and showcasing images of many of the amazing shorebirds, some resident and others that migrate to our local estuaries, and the challenges we face to keep their habitats protected.
For more information and meeting details, please visit our website or our Facebook event linked here (read more).
Please note - when it is safe to do so, we plan to hold a separate, in-person event, to recognise and celebrate the efforts of our supporters and volunteers. More details will be available when we have them.
Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
