VOLUNTEER WITH US!!!
Help us support mental health through sustainability! We sell beautiful preloved furniture, fashion & homewares to raise much needed funds for mental health, with 50% of our profits going directly to The Mental Health Foundation of NZ.
As a social enterprise, we operate on a skeleton team of staff so our volunteers are very important to us. Volunteering with us isn't scary, we're an informal & supportive bunch who like to have a laugh. Our desire for good mental health & wellbeing for everyone is something we all have in common.
We need:
General help out in the store (assisting customers, tidying racks, putting clothes away, steaming etc)
Repair/restoration of furniture
Sewing (cushion covers, squabs, projects)
Crafty people (help creating crafty pieces we can sell in store)
Drivers (help picking up & delivering furniture)
If you can help, please get in touch now! You can email Louise directly at louise@thecollective.co.nz or call on 0274 998998.
Look forward to hearing from you! :)

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
