Archaeology Week - Discoveries at Highwic | Talk | Caroline Phillips - Sunday 3 May, 2pm (approx. 1.5 hours)
Archaeological projects have been undertaken at Highwic in recent years which have brought to light hundreds, if not thousands, of artefacts. These help us piece together information about how the family lived, the history of the site, and where particular structures were located.
Join archaeologist Caroline Phillips for an afternoon at Highwic to view some of these artefacts, learn more about what has been found, and what has not been found. This will be an informal talk, a walk around the site, and an opportunity to view the artefacts.
For more information contact highwic@heritage.org.nz.
Numbers limited, booking essential.
