Feedback sought on safety improvements to Blockhouse Bay roundabout
It's time to have your say on proposals to boost safety at Blockhouse Bay's busy roundabout which sees 30,000 vehicles every day.
Auckland Transport is calling for feedback on plans to boost safety for drivers, pedestrians, cyclists and motorcyclists.
People have until December 11 to make submissions on plans to reshape the centre island, install raised traffic islands and paint new road markings to help guide cornering drivers.
The proposed changes aim to reduce speed for drivers approaching the traffic circle and to install safe crossing places for pedestrians.
