Reason for sale: We're expecting, so need to make space for the cot, changing table, feeding chair.. and all that 'exciting' stuff.
This is the most practical dressing table ever, seriously not a sales pitch, it really is. My wife is very upset about selling it but unfortunately we need to make space.
The dresser has a HEAP of storage, with 6 drawers and tonnes of shelf space hidden behind the sliding mirror. The other mirror doesn't slide, but it does tilt. The hidden shelves are my wife's favourite feature. She literally stores all her daily needs on these shelves. So handy.
We've bought a new (smaller) dresser and she's already complaining about how the old one was 'so much better', complaining why can't all dressing tables have shelves instead of silly shallow drawers that can't store anything taller than 10cm without having to lie them down (the gripe is real).
Unfortunately we've already made the decision so this has got to go.
Our loss, your gain.
Pick up from Waterview. I can help you carry the dresser out as it's solid wood so fairly heavy. But buyer will need to strong and help carry it out, as my pregnant wife won't be able to assist.
If you need a van/trailer to transport the dresser. I have a van we could use. But would have to add $50 for my time to go with you to ferry the table back to your house.
Drop me a text on 021 364 336.
Slowking pokemon soft toy not included.
Cheers
Daniel

Press Release: Craig Lord Mayoral Candidate
www.craiglord.nz...
Mayoral candidate Craig Lord is going to lobby for support to build a Waste to Energy plant in Auckland if elected into office this year. With over 200,000 tonnes of rubbish going into Auckland based landfills annually, and Chinese owned Waste Management with Auckland Council support simply wanting to dig more holes to bury the problem, he says it is time to change the script.
“There are over 500 WTE Plants in Europe alone. Asia has them, the US does, but not us and we’re meant to be a green country – that’s embarrassing. Sweden is now so efficient they recycle 99% of their refuse. That means only 1% goes into the ground while 99% is recycled into energy or roads and other products.”
Lord believes it is easily doable and with less emissions from a plant than from a landfill, the project would be backed by the majority of Aucklanders.
“It’s going to cost $400 - $600 million to build and that is quite feasible. If the city can’t do it then a private enterprise can. They can build it, and make their profits, but of course with systems in place to make sure they are not going to overcharge the city for the services or the power that comes from it. It can and should be done. In fact, it will be. By us or someone else.”
He is adamant that the current mindset of ‘collect and forget’ by the population can be changed if they see a purpose.
“Right now, we throw and disregard because we don’t see any other option. Let’s make an option. Let’s create something so fantastic that people will be picking up rubbish from the streets, the streams, the beaches and oceans just so it can be thrown into our very own Waste to Energy plant.”
He says if it’s designed right it could have extra benefits than just a disposal and energy building.
“Let’s think outside of the box here. It doesn’t need to be ugly; it could be made to look fantastic, and if done right it should become a place where people can view the operation - a tourist attraction no less!”
Lord has stated he will not be making the regular political policies for his Mayoral campaign run, but says this is different.
“This isn’t a policy. It’s a goal, a vision, a dream. Call it what you will, the main point is that we need to build one and we need to do it now.”
Outgoing Retirement Commissioner Diane Maxwell has been outspoken about the need to increase the pension age from 65.
"You used to get super for five years, then 10 and now 20 - soon it'll be 30. I'm not sure how we can fund people getting super for 30 years or more."

New Zealand has one of the simplest pension schemes in the world - all you have to do is be old enough and have lived in the country long enough and you can get it.
But that also makes it expensive - about $14.5 billion this year. Jobseeker benefits, by comparison, cost just $1.7b and sole parent support $1.08b.
