Time to do Up Furniture

John from HomeDownsize

When clearing garages, houses or even left up on the side of the road I now and again find lovely old furniture which deserves a new life. I cant dump beauty so under the houses pieces went, the intention would be to do up one day/ retirement !!!! This lock down is not as good as the last... so I've been under the house and am at present repairing 2 dressers, a captains chair, 2 oak chairs and an oak table. I encourage others to do the same as it does keep you busy and we have a little time at present. All the best everyone...

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Some New Zealanders are re-imagining funerals by making their own coffin or having a relaxed ceremony at home. Would you want a less traditional funeral? Share your thoughts below.

Type 'Not For Print' if you wish your comments to be excluded from the Conversations column of your local paper.
