Tickets to Jenny Mitchell - 22nd August at the Tuning Fork
Hi all. We got a bit ahead of ourselves a couple of months ago & booked two tickets to see NZ's own Jenny Mitchell. Genre? I'd say a bit folk, a bit country, a bit Americana. Now can't go.
Google says this: Jenny Mitchell, is a storyteller from the deep south of New Zealand. Now based in Melbourne, Jenny recently supported Kasey Chambers on a 32 date tour of Australia and released her highly acclaimed album Forest House - via Melbourne based label Civilians.
I paid $113.94 for the tickets. Happy to on-sell them at $85.00 for the two. They're also re-listed back on Moshtix, but I'm not sure what sort of reach that has.
If you've never been to the Tuning Fork - it's Aucklands best live music venue. Very intimate, if you get there early you'll get a bar stool & table arrangement.

A riddle to start the festive season 🌲🎁🌟
I'm a fruit. If you take away my first letter, I'm a crime. If you take away my first two letters, I'm an animal. If you take away my first and last letter, I'm a form of music. What am I?

Poll: Should we be giving the green light to new mining projects? 💰🌲
The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
We want to know: Should mining projects like this move ahead?
