THE ALPHA COURSE: Exploring some of the big questions about life, God and faith
WHERE: St Chads Church and Community Centre, 38 Saint Johns Road, St Johns, Auckland.
WHEN: Starting Wednesday 19 June from 6:45 - 9pm, for seven weeks.
WHAT: We commit to creating a safe and hospitable space where people can thoughtfully and respectfully explore some of the big questions about life and God. Each week will start with a meal and then we will explore one of the following themes through video content and discussion: Is there more to life than this? Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus die? How can I have faith? Why and how do I pray? Why and how should I read my Bible?
Please send your expression of interest to alpha@stchads.org.nz
Why not come along to our first session on 19 June and see if it is for you.

What's your favourite tomato recipe?
Kia ora neighbours. We know your tomato plants are still growing, but we're looking ahead to the harvest already! If you've got a family recipe for tomatoes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine to share with our readers. Send your recipe to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, and if we use it in the mag, you will receive a free copy of our February 2025 issue.
Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?
An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.
When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
