2 x Stolen Mountain Bikes - Harwood Road - Mt Wellington
Hi Neighbours,
My son and hubby's bike was taken from our carport this afternoon. Baba and I went for a walk around lunch time, the bikes were still there - around 4pm is when we discovered they were gone. My son uses it to ride to swim training at Panmure Lagoon - he is a competitive swimmer for Mt Wellington Swim Club.
Cheeky too as the said person/people WAITED or seen us walk out (long driveway at the back) and then made their move. So - if anyone saw anybody with 2 mountain bikes still chained together coming along from Harwood Road - please let us know.
In the meantime - he will have to catch the bus to training which I have been trying to avoid him catching public transport (pandemic...)
Unfortunately we did not etch anything into the bike - I had told him to chain both bikes to the carport pole but he said "no one ever comes down this long driveway anyway) - It's just a block of 4 units.
This is the only pic I have of his one.
Thank you

Poll: 🤖 What skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?
The Reserve Bank has shared some pretty blunt advice: there’s no such thing as a “safe” job anymore 🛟😑
Robots are stepping into repetitive roles in factories, plants and warehouses. AI is taking care of the admin tasks that once filled many mid-level office jobs.
We want to know: As the world evolves, what skills do you think give a CV the ultimate edge in a robot-filled workplace?
