Ikebana for Beginners starts Next Week!
🌸 Artistry of Flowers: Ikebana for Beginners
➡️ Starts Monday 26 July
Ikebana is the Japanese art of flower arranging. It is seen as more than simply putting flowers in a container, but a disciplined art form in which the arrangement is a living thing where nature and humanity are brought together. It is steeped in the philosophy of developing a closeness with nature.
Our five-week Ikebana course will introduce you to traditional and innovative Japanese flower arrangements of the Sogetsu School. Work with nature in an individual and imaginative form through colour, line and texture.
