books to Selwyn College drop off location
I understand from a message on Neighbourly yesterday that there was a flood which destroyed many books which had already been donated.
I dropped off some books about midday today and was concerned to see that the drop-off point was not at all well protected from the weather.
There was also a sign which stated what sort of books NOT wanted, but this was too late to be taken into consideration.
The organisers need to put more information on their website so that people donating know in advance. I am sad to think that some of my quite valuable books may be damaged before the book fair even happens.

-
59.3% Yes, supporting people is important!
-
26.4% No, individuals should take responsibility
