Police have been investigating the complaint about a man’s behaviour towards a young student on the afternoon of 12 February.
Detective Senior Sergeant Mark Greaves, Area Investigations Manager for Auckland City East, says the investigation has progressed in recent days.
“We have now obtained an image of a vehicle in the Gladwin Road area on Tuesday afternoon,” he says.
“Police would like anyone who saw this vehicle, or has further information concerning it to contact us.”
The incident occurred at around 3.35pm, when the sole male occupant of the vehicle began doing an act towards the young student walking past on Gladwin Road.
“Fortunately this man did not exit the vehicle, and it was last seen travelling down Lewin Road,” Detective Senior Sergeant Greaves says.
“Anyone who has information, please contact Police.
“I’d also encourage the driver of this vehicle, who knows who they are, to stop delaying the inevitable and come to speak with Police.”

A crash has occurred between a truck and motorcycle on southbound lanes, at around 8am, just prior to the Greenlane on-ramp.

A crash has occurred between a truck and motorcycle on southbound lanes, at around 8am, just prior to the Greenlane on-ramp.
Emergency services are responding to the scene.Police will have further information on injuries in due course.
Motorists are advised that southbound traffic is being diverted off the motorway at the Green Lane East off-ramp, to rejoin on via the on-ramp. Please expect delays in the area.
9.20am UPDATE:
"Fatal crash: Expect ongoing delays on Southern Motorway"
Police can advise a motorcyclist has died following an earlier serious crash on the Southern Motorway, near Greenlane.
A section of State Highway 1 has been closed, with the Serious Crash Unit in attendance. An investigation will commence in due course.
Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this morning's tragic events, including those who may require welfare referrals. If you witnessed the crash, but have left the area please contact 105 and use the reference number P061612219.
Advice for motorists:
Police anticipate the closure of southbound lanes will be place for at least two hours.
Traffic is heavy around the Greenlane interchange.
Southbound traffic is still being diverted off at the Green Lane East off-ramp.
We acknowledge motorists' understanding while important work is carried out at the scene of the fatal crash.
We continue to encourage motorists to consider alternative routes through the city, including using State Highways 16 and 20.
Please allow additional time to reach your destination safely.

I do via my debit card which is my own money not even via a credit card, anyway as it is safer, gives you a acknowledgment of a receipt of what you have spent & you always have a tally of where your money for that day has gone. What I always like to do is many times check the receipts against your bank statement & you find out that most shops end up charging you a surcharge fee for using a card payment option. I find this isn't fair, as many shops these days also don't except cash.
If a shop wants to make business, isn't it up to the shop to wear the surcharge? How do you feel on this? A few cents here & their it adds up over time.
Bad as the banks. Your receipts many never match up to your bank due to the surcharge & many shops don't tell you either.
