The city’s heterogeneous nature is the crux of the Auckland War Memorial Museum’s latest exhibition, Tāmaki Herenga Waka: Stories of Auckland.

It tells the diverse narratives of the people and places that call the city home, with a particular focus on early immigrant families who had – and continue to have – a fundamental impact on its formation.

The Kronfeld family, who moved to Auckland in the 1890s, have had a particularly trailblazing existence.

In as little as 10 years after moving, Prussian Jew Gustav Kronfeld boasted a hugely successful import-export business and had become a naturalised member of the British Empire.

Along with his Samoan wife Louisa he also helped care for those who passed through Auckland from the Pacific Islands, in a grand house he had built himself.

Emily Parr, the Kronfeld’s great-great-granddaughter said her ancestors' warm and familial hospitality helped countless travellers and established Pacific Island roots in Auckland, at a time when very few Samoans were in New Zealand.

Hi my Computer/IT Neighbours,

I am looking for some help in developing a Microsoft Excel Model to pull live Coin Exchange data from the Binance Exchange.

I want to be able to download / update live Coin Rates into my Excel model from the Binance Exchange.

Do you know how to build such a model?

I am trying to do this on my Apple 2017 Macbook Air laptop.

I have managed to be able to get the raw data from the Binance exchange, but I need help in formatting the correct data nicely/cleanly into an Excel spreadsheet model. Formatting the raw data has me stuck.

If you have already done something like this before or know how to use API's to link data into MS Excel, please contact me.

I am happy to learn from you how to do this myself or I would also be willing to pay for you to build a good working live updating Excel model for me.

This may suit an UNI IT /Computer student or someone who knows how to import API's into Excel and can build complex Excel models, a Microsoft Excel guru perhaps.

I look forward to hearing from you.

I live in Mount Eden, Auckland.

Please contact Harry on 0274 88 0274 or by email on investkiwi@gmail.com.

A farmer in Maruia, on the South Island's West Coast, is threatening to burn 80ha of native bush on his property and turn it into pasture in a bid to raise its value and save his farm.
The land is likely to be classed as a significant natural area (SNA) under new biodiversity rules in regional and district plans.
Aaran Bruce and his wife live on a 220ha block their family has owned since the 1940s on West Bank Rd, about 15km from Springs Junction.
The couple is under pressure from their bank to sell the farm after running into financial strife and sold their dairy herd last year.
