Toddler Playground Approved for Jean Sampson Reserve
I'm very pleased that on Wednesday the Kaipātiki Local Board approved the concept plan for the new fenced toddler playground at Jean Sampson Reserve! This has been several years coming and is now scheduled to be constructed between March and June next year :)
The playground will be fenced off to keep little ones safe and the playground pieces chosen are specifically for little crawlers, cruisers, toddlers and climbers. It includes: slides, a sandpit, tunnels, interactive panels and music pieces, tactile play corner, shadesails and nature play. The existing fire engine play piece is being refurbished and will be put back into the playground. The basketball court will remain where it is and the swings will be moved.
Thanks to Paula Gillon for her advocacy on this project!
Funded by the Kaipatiki Local Board.

We want to know: Are you seeing signs of Auckland's economy improving in your industry or neighbourhood? Whether it's busier shops, new projects kicking off, or just a shift in the mood ...
