Visitor Guidance for Counties Manukau Health
At Counties Manukau Health, our patients’ health and wellbeing is our number one priority.
That includes making sure they get enough rest.
To enable high-quality care, and for the overall health of our patients, we must balance the needs of our patients and visitors.
To achieve this we have introduced flexible visiting. This means:
● One key support person who may visit between 8am – 8pm
● Overnight visiting (8pm – 8am) – compassionate grounds only
● Visiting hours for whaanau are 2pm - 8pm – two visitors per patient
● No children under 16 years – unless approved on compassionate grounds
● Take away food for patients must not be brought onto the premises
● Registration of visitors will occur at hospital entrances
We ask if you are unwell, do not visit.
