Level One James Cook High School
It's wonderful having our staff and students back at school and beginning to operate normally again. Yesterday our Board chairperson released the following statement: On behalf of the James Cook High School Board of Trustees, as representatives of our community, I would formally like to take the opportunity to acknowledge and publicly thank our dedicated teaching and support staff as well as the senior leadership team ably lead by Acting Principal Maria Coyne for their dedication to our students learning and well-being during the recent Covid 19 lockdown. They truly delivered on the school's values of Endeavour, Contribute, Care, and Learn. Now that we are back in Level One we look forward to all our students returning to school.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
