You may have seen the post doing the rounds on social media at the moment asking whether English is spoken here and suggesting NZ is a state of Australia (see below). Have you ever been asked anything surprising about NZ? Feel free to message me or comment below. Please put 'NFP' (not for publication) in your comment if you do not want it or your name included in the article. Thanks very much for your help and happy travels.

We're the most affordable and serene Pet Stay in Auckland, offering a number of affordable solutions, whether you are looking at a day stay or for long term boarding when you are away.

Fairfield Pet Lodge (FPL) is family owned and operated and has been in the Taljaard family (Anton, Crisna and Ashlee) ownership for the past six years, but the facility was established in approximately 1978! FPL is situated on a lifestyle block of 5 stunning hectares including lush paddocks, large gardens and mature trees, located about 7.5km from Clevdon and just under 40km from Auckland airport.

Anton has an abundance of experience with animals, serving 12 years as a dog handler in the South African Police Service, shortly after arriving to NZ he volunteered his services at the SPCA in Mangere. He also holds severage degrees in business and management. Therefore, it's no surprise that managing FPL is based on modern and sustainable practises. hence the slogan "We do not follow we lead" holds true for FPL

You will find a heap of information and reviews on our website (https://fairfieldpetlodge.nz/) and facebook (https://www.facebook.com/fairfieldpetlodge/)

PET STAY NOTE - We will accept cancellations to pre booked peak times due to forced covid lockdown - so don't delay book today to avoid disappointment for busy April and July school holidays. Reservations for out of season periods can be made at shorter notice.
