The Mangere-based Ara Education Charitable Trust is inviting volunteers to share skills and knowledge on a one-off, or an ongoing, basis. Retired tradespeople could help by working with the students, says John Vazey, senior health, safety and wellbeing business partner at Auckland Airport.
Students are working on a number of projects, including the Forever House, transforming it from a derelict house into a sustainable low-cost home to be returned to the community. Volunteers will work alongside AECT tutors and the students in classroom and hands-on projects.

I need the services of a Van on Thursday 3rd August in the evening for a few hours. We need to transport a theatre set ( pillars/ doors and some props) to the Venue off the Play.
There aren't too many items to be transported.
Then on Sunday 6th August we need to transport these set items back to the original address.
I am looking for a Van which can hold these items and we will need the services only for a couple of hours on each day. If anyone can help us or lend us their Van, do get in touch with me asap.
Thank you.
