Face Mask - Hairdresser
Here's a tip to keep you and your hairdresser safe when you get your much awaited hairdo. I did this last year and it works a treat. Cut off the ear loops from your surgical mask, stick fashion tape (buy from Spotlight or haberdashery stores) along the two outer edges of your mask and stick it to your cheeks so the ear loops aren't in the way of scissors, hair colour and washing. Double sided tape may work, but might not stick long enough. Not a time to be complacent folks. Let's all protect eachother.
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
