In order to keep our patients and their whaanau and visitors safe against Covid-19/coronavirus, we have now restricted the number of visitors that can come to Middlemore Hospital and our other sites. Dr Jenny Parr is responsible for making sure our patients have the best possible experience in our care. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
