Vocal Scholarships - FREE singing tuition
8 Vocal Scholarships are on offer from the Pitt St Methodist Church in Central Auckland for successful applicants. You must join the choir to receive a scholarship. Rehearsals are Tues evenings 6.15-8pm and services are Sunday mornings 10.30-11.30am with a warm-up from 9.45am. Applicants are required to audition but it's informal and nothing to worry about. Successful applicants will receive a 30min vocal lesson each week. Open to all ages 6+. As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

Begins 9 February 2026. Monday each week during the school term at 10:00am, followed by morning tea and play time at Elevate Christian Disability Trust, 173 Mt Smart Rd, Onehunga, Auckland.
