Mistaken identity - barking dog

Kylie from Mairangi Bay

Thank you to the neighbour who left a note in my letterbox about a dog who is being a nuisance by barking. A rather nice Xmas card to say to be nice to my dog and nice to my neighbours and seasons greetings. Anyone else get this card or was it just me? There are many family with dogs in my area it is very hard to know who’s dog is barking. My dog does not continuously bark, he barks when someone knocks at my door and when he is playing occasionally outside but unfortunately I am unable to clarify this as the person did not leave any details. How does one stop a dog from permanently barking? If you are reading this and wrote the card please feel free to get in touch with me.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
