There will be plenty of practical advice about how to establish your business, ideas for creating a great first impression, and how to handle safety issues in someone else’s home. The workshop will also cover useful information about children and their developmental needs, ideas for play, and how to communicate well with parents.
Sarah will deliver a concise first aid course specifically designed for child minders, covering child safety and accident prevention, life-saving techniques and emergency first aid.
For 13-17 year olds. Places limited. Tickets $25 (normally $50, thanks to a subsidy through Upper Harbour Local Board).
We are a group of people, mostly newcomers, who want to make a positive difference in this world.

We meet to sew Boomerang Bags to tackle the plastic bag issue which is so destructive to marine life.
