Driving Lessons
A youth with driver licence is 3x more likely to get a job. Parents and grandparents, visit www.pcds.co.nz... to buy driving lessons through Puketapapa Community Driving School (PCDS) for your teens. PCDS is a community-owned social enterprise, so when you book with us you’re also helping local refugees and migrants learn to drive. For every paid driving lesson, we can give subsidised lessons to refugee-background learner drivers which help their whole family become better established in their new home.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
