Free Yoga Nidra Sessions โ€“ Looking for Volunteers ๐ŸŒธ

Valentina from One Tree Hill

Hi Neighbours! ๐Ÿ‘‹
Iโ€™ve recently completed my Yoga Nidra Teacher Training, and as part of my preparation for the final exam in mid-October, I need to practice guiding sessions once a week with a small group.
If youโ€™ve ever been curious about Yoga Nidra, this is a wonderful opportunity to experience it for free!

Yoga Nidra is a deeply relaxing guided meditation that:
๐ŸŒฟ Helps with anxiety, stress, and insomnia
๐ŸŒ™ Releases tension from body and mind
๐Ÿ’ซ Supports positive changes in your life

Session Details:
๐Ÿ“ Starting next week
๐Ÿ“ Thursday evenings (7:00โ€“7:30 PM) or Sunday afternoons (time to arrange together)
๐Ÿ“ The location will depend on group size:
โ€ƒโ€ƒโœ” If small, we can meet at my home in One Tree Hill
โ€ƒโ€ƒโœ” If larger, I will arrange the Scout Hall in Panmure

The session itself is 30 minutes, but please allow around one hour including setting up and time for any questions.

No experience is needed โ€” just bring a mat, a couple of pillows, and a blanket.

If youโ€™re interested, please message me and let me know which day you would prefer โ€“ Thursday evening or Sunday afternoon.

Your help would be greatly appreciated, and Iโ€™d love to share this beautiful practice with you! ๐Ÿ™

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if itโ€™s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.

We want to know: Should mining projects like this move ahead?
