Current Council Rates Survey Flawed - and Biased
The current Council Rates Survey is Flawed and Biased. At a time of Covid, more jobless ratepayers, angst about Council salaries, general Council incompetence, money wasted on vanity and ego projects, it is an insult that Council wants more of your money.

The survey is seriously flawed in that it does not have an option of 'NO RATES INCREASES' and very biased (like so many other Council surveys) to direct ratepayers to a predertmined outcome that will allow Goff and his Councillors to proudly state that 'a majority support a rates increase'.
Here is the first question in the survey:
Which increase do you support?
-2.5 per cent average general rates increase
- 3.5 per cent average general rates increase
- I don't know
My advice - tick 'I don't know' - and then tell the Council in the supporting box that you DONT WANT A RATES INCREASE and why.
If you want - also go to the Council complaints and register the fact that the survey is Biased and Flawed.

Is this your missing cat? I found this gorgeous friendly boy at the back of the Onehunga dump on Angle Street, Onehunga on Tuesday. I took him to the vets, he's not microchipped or neutered, is approximately 2 to 3 years old and has 4 white paws. If he is yours please private message me.

I recently moved to the Hillsborough area and would like to offer two different services:
1. Childcare: teaching background, experience with all ages. Currently quite a bit of availability.
I love children, doing fun things together. Happy to help with homework.

2. Coaching/mentoring: I'm just starting out and am offering free half-hour phone calls or face-to-face if you prefer. I specialise in listening and client-centred practice.
