Chatswood Reserve tracks open!

John Gillon from John Gillon - Kaipatiki Local Board

The Chatswood Reserve tracks are now complete and open!
The tracks have been upgraded to a standard to help prevent kauri dieback, including new bridges, boardwalks and box steps.
The route is now different. There is now a stand-alone connection between Fitzpatrick Place and Mappin Place, which includes a lookout.

The remainder of the tracks can be accessed from Portsea Place, Langstone Place, Blundell Place and Homewood Place, and connect through to Kauri Point Centennial Park and Chelsea Estate Heritage Park (the exit to the gravel pit carpark is closed while it is being upgraded).

These photos and map have been provided by the project manager.

- Funded by the Natural Environment Targeted Rate and the Kaipātiki Local Board.

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.

When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
