Gutter Weeds...

John Gillon from

I hope everyone is having a great New Year and are keeping safe during this Summer storm 🌧🌦
At least the gutter weeds will be enjoying the rain...
Seriously though, I've been monitoring them over the last couple of months, hoping that they would be dealt with in time for Christmas, but no such luck. 🌱🌱🌱🌱

On the North Shore, Ventia have the contract to kill weeds in the road corridor (gutters, roundabouts, traffic islands) using hot water or foam, but it doesn't seem to be getting done at all. This should be routinely done and not rely on the public complaining.
I haven't noticed the weeds like this in other parts of Auckland...

Poll: If we want to reduce speeding, what do you think actually changes driver behaviour? πŸ›»πŸš¨πŸš“

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?

What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?
