However the black flags at Little Shoal Bay and Kendall Bay (Kauri Point Centennial Park) are due to a known sewage leak in the vicinity of Chelsea Estate Heritage Park/Chelsea Sugar Factory. These warnings will be staying in place until the issue is resolved. So please treat this seriously and stay out of the water along that part of the coastline.

I'd like to turn my basement into some sort of a hobby room/workshop area. Rather annoyingly though there is what i can only guess is some sort of reinforcing in the form of soil.
First of all i would like to know if it's possible to remove the soil and in it's place replace it with some sort of concrete reinforcing.
Secondly, if that is even possible what sort of work would be required? Is it a matter of concrete reinforcing in the form of spray-on concrete or would it be steel rods with concrete etc.
Thank you :)

Here's what you need to know:
- Surface and/or flash flooding is possible, especially about streams, rivers or narrow valleys - this may also lead to slips.
- Driving conditions will be hazardous with surface flooding and poor visibility in heavy rain. If any tornadoes occur, they will only affect very localised areas.
- Thunderstorm activity is expected to ease in Auckland in the early evening of Tuesday.
For information on preparing for and keeping safe during a storm, see the Civil Defence Get Ready website.

Fortunately, there are effective techniques to help us unwind and promote relaxation, paving the way for a restful slumber. Here are a few tips to consider:
1️⃣ Bedtime routine: Create a consistent routine with calming activities like reading, bathing, or gentle stretches. Avoid electronic devices due to their interference with sleep hormones.
2️⃣ Deep breathing & meditation: Practice slow, deep breaths in a quiet space with closed eyes. Start with a few minutes of meditation daily and increase gradually.
3️⃣ Physical activity: Engage in enjoyable exercise like walking, yoga, or sports. Aim for 30 minutes of moderate-intensity activity most days.
4️⃣ Sleep-friendly environment: Keep your bedroom cool, dark, and quiet. Use comfortable bedding, a supportive mattress, and remove stressors like work-related items or electronics.
5️⃣ Relaxation techniques: Try progressive muscle relaxation, aromatherapy, soothing music, or gentle yoga poses. Release tension and prepare for a peaceful sleep.
Remember, it takes time to find what works best for you. Be patient and kind to yourself. By prioritizing relaxation and incorporating these techniques, you can reduce stress, unwind, and wake up refreshed.
Sweet dreams!✨
