Stolen Honda Civic

Reuben from Glendene

UPDATED 9th Jan, 2024: car has been found by a member of the public, parked on suburban street in Royal Heights with minimal(ish) damage (that my insurance will be able to cover). I have updated my original post to remove my personal info now, but I'm keeping the post here in case anyone recognises the person still (Police File number if needed is 240106/1418). Thanks to everyone for your concern and help here on neighbourly, facebook, and on reddit!

Hi all, my car was stolen at 3pm on Saturday 6th of Jan from my house in Glendene. Can you please keep an eye out for it in surrounding suburbs and call the 111 if you see it? Number plate is ######. Photo was taken by neighbour of one of the guys that took my car - do you know him? Thanks all,

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
