If you live in Henderson, Kelston, Te Atatu, Glen Eden or New Lynn, have been impacted by the pandemic financially & are in need of a free food parcel, help is not too far away! Head down to the St. Vincent de Paul Society in Henderson at the corner of Lavelle & View Roads (opposite Holy Cross Church, Henderson) on Apr 9th between 12pm & 1pm & we will do our best to help you out. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
