We didn’t expect it to get that crazy 😜. Thanks for the community support for our community event 🙏❤️🙏. After 3 years of Food truck Fridays the support continues to grow and we are grateful for that. We started this as we wanted to bring some life to our community centre and create a place people can get together to hang out with some fantastic food, have some new experiences and good times.

We would like to thank everyone who have helped Te Atatu Food Truck Fridays this season and it’s a big team who helps keep this community event running. We would like to thank the volunteers, council staff, food trucks, musicians, performers, DJ’s, Art Ache, The ReCreators, Lisa the facepainter, Nabil’s sand art and all our sponsors.

Of course, we would like to thank you all for continually coming along 😍. We hope we give people a reason to get out of the house, get to know the local community and enjoy the community vibes on a Friday night.

Remember to like the Te Atatu food Truck Fridays Facebook page 👍 to keep up to date with the latest news and future events. www.facebook.com...

Chris fits in a shift each week as a Volunteer Support Worker on top of family and a successful career. She says the role has taught her to think on her feet and led to a huge amount of personal growth.

"I have a huge amount of gratitude for my life. And every now and then you get little bits of feedback, and you know you have really helped someone. That feels really good,” says Chris. “It’s a privilege to be able to do this."

During her time with Victim Support, Chris has helped hundreds of victims to find safety, healing, and justice. Follow the link to hear Chris’s story and learn how you too can support those who need it as a volunteer with Victim Support.
