The Memories of Elvis Fan Club have Che Orton the winner of Beach Hop (NZ) and Cooly Rocks (AUST) where he now goes to represent Australasia in Memphis at Elvis Week, as our guest Elvis Entertainer on Sat 5th August. Venue is Henderson RSA, cost is $20 per person and starts at 7.30pm. Tickets on sale at the RSA or reserve through Jackie 8174892. You won't want to miss this evening. Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
