Poll: Should fireworks be banned?
Auckland skies will soon be alight with fireworks displays.
With Guy Fawkes looming, the event sparks ongoing debate over the use of fireworks.
Auckland Council and a range of national organisations have renewed calls to ban the private use and sale of fireworks after a parliamentary select committee decided in August to leave regulations unchanged.
Some people will be celebrating Guy Fawkes Day, held to commemorate the failure of the Gunpowder Plot in 1605.
Should fireworks be banned?

A little bit about Corey:

Dr Corey Regnerus-Kell is excited to answer your questions on all things animal welfare, whether it's how to best look after your new pet, how to combat separation anxiety or how to report neglect.

Dental Care
The main cause of tooth loss in adults is gum disease. Here at CM Dental, we aim to prevent future oral health problems for our patients. Part of how we do this is by encouraging our patients to get a regular scale and polish. Scaling is the thorough removal of plaque and calculus from around teeth. We even offer this service at a discounted rate for our loyal returning patients as an extra incentive to make this a regular part of their oral health regime.
It is worth mentioning that only in its late stages does gum disease cause pain and the damage is then usually irreparable causing tooth loss. You may require multiple cleaning visits if you have more advanced gum disease, but this will be discussed during your inspection appointment.
We are a modern friendly practice located in Henderson with free car parking.
