Museum on the Move are visiting Pasifika Festival this year!

The Team from Auckland Museum

Bring the kids along to our interactive pop-up Museum experience at this year's Pasifika Festival.

Ata Hira: Museum on the Move is a fun and interactive family exhibition which looks at the life and perspectives of the high priest and navigator Tupaia, including life in Tahiti, on board the Endeavour and his arrival to Aotearoa.

Drawn from our exhibition Voyage to Aotearoa: Tupaia and the Endeavour, it features dress ups, card games, touch screens, short films and more. We'll be at this year’s Pasifika Festival, Sat 14 – Sun 15 March, 10am to 4pm at Western Springs Park.
Hope to see you there!
