Massey Birdwood Settlers Association Presentation
Henderson Massey Local Board member Warren Flaunty has been a member of the Massey Birdwood Settlers Association for 50 years. The MBSA is the local resident and atepayers group and owns the hall on the corner of Red Hills and Don Buck Road. Warren once signed up 600 members to the Association, is a local business owner and resident on the Waitakere Licencing Trust, the Health Board is a past Massey Community Board member, Waitemata City Councillor and Waitakere City Councillor. He has served the Association as President and VP and was awarded a certificate for long and valued service by the President Dr Ershad Ali (left) and Secretary John Riddell (right).
Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
