Stick to your bubble, not your couch - join Red Cross Virtual Tour

Red Cross Communications from Red Cross Auckland

During COVID-19 lockdowns overseas, we've seen someone run a half marathon on a tiny balcony and the distance of Everest up and down a staircase. What will we see next in New Zealand!?

We are an active country and we like to get outdoors in our beautiful landscapes. But we know that right now… View more

We are an active country and we like to get outdoors in our beautiful landscapes. But we know that right now we must #stayhomesavelives. Here is a way that you can still keep active in your own home, and still enjoy the beautiful scenery that we have here in Aotearoa! ? #RedCrossVirtualTour

Increasing foot traffic has resulted with people taking their dogs for walks however it is utterly disgusting for us to clean up the stuff they leave behind as it has turned into a regular nuisance just at the entrance to our property on Landscape Road.
We have kids unwittingly sometimes walk over them.
We have now put up a sign and have surveillance cameras already operating.
Offenders will be shamed on the social media though we have so far endured this nuisance due to the current environment.

Please be mindful of others and helpful.

Covid19 Level 3 – What Does That Mean To Me?

Andrea from Eden Terrace

Study the Map and join the dots
Before you get in old Gerty
And venture out onto the tarmac
Because the answer is somewhat murky

You can go for a fish, a swim or a surf
But don’t go jumping off rocks
And should you choose to go tramping

Study the Map and join the dots
Before you get in old Gerty
And venture out onto the tarmac
Because the answer is somewhat murky

You can go for a fish, a swim or a surf
But don’t go jumping off rocks
And should you choose to go tramping
Make sure to wear hole proof socks

A real estate agent can work from home
Though you cannot enter theirs if you can
Visit the office and see for yourself
Purchase your new property off the plan

Children who wish to visit playgrounds
As they have no backyard to play
Will be denied this simple pleasure
As viral bacteria in the soil can stay

You can order a flat white or coffee
And take a walk on the beach with your pooch
Make sure you keep your doggy bags handy
To pick up after your doggy goes loos

We can order online and be happy
As Countdown has opened a shop
That allows us to stay indoors
And wait for our orders to drop

Not much has changed since Level 4
Keep your Tamariki home from school
And please, leave your grandparents alone
For they didn’t raise no fool.

Andrea from Eden Terrace

The street is not an option as a place to discard your face masks. Please research how to discard these masks if wearing one is applicable for you.
