Hey team, Jack here again! 🌟

So, I was doing my weekly grocery run at Countdown Supermarket, and while waiting in line, I noticed their public noticeboard. It was filled with various ads and community notices – everything from local events to job listings. It got me thinking about how often we interact with these noticeboards in different places.

Personally, I always find interesting stuff on the one at the supermarket – you never know what local gems you’ll discover! But I wonder if others feel the same way.

How do we all make our housing choices, how are they made for us, partly or in full maybe?
Where would you choose/prefer to live, but what is the reality for you?
This is an excellent survey, worth the 20 minutes,  to provide a wide range of living perspectives, including apartment living, into the mix.

HAVE YOUR SAY!
New Zealand’s Housing Survey has been developed and tested throughout Aotearoa, for Aotearoa by The Urban Advisory to help build awareness around how people live, want to live and what barriers are in the way to achieving their housing aspirations.

We want the data from this survey to provide the information government organisations, Councils, and developers need to make informed decisions about housing across New Zealand.

Here's what you need to know:
- A period of severe gale southwesterlies is expected in Auckland and MetService have issued a severe thunderstorm watch and an orange strong wind warning.
- Air NZ is contacting customers booked to fly in and out of Auckland this afternoon, warning of potential flight disruptions due to strong winds forecast to hit the city.
- NZTA warn of strong winds between 10am-12pm today so the Harbour Bridge will have lane reductions, reduced speeds and a 4x4 lane layout. Caution is especially needed for motorcyclists and trucks. NZTA said "Today there is also a possibility that all lanes on the bridge could close temporarily."
- Strong wind gusts could damage trees, powerlines and unsecured structures. Driving may be hazardous, especially for high-sided vehicles and motorcycles.
