guess what percent of New Year Resolutions are still going in Feb?

Eve from Eve Rudkin Mindfulness

Hi Neighbours, can you guess what percent of New Year Resolutions are still going in Feb? I will reply with the answer tomorrow!

But I bet you know, not a lot! Maybe you want to improve your mental health and wellbeing?

Come and try out joining a small group for a mindfulness session of ease and peace. The session includes gentle movement and relaxing simple meditation to soothe body and mind, and to give a bit of space to set intentions which have the potential to free up the areas of your life that feel stuck.

Next one is on Mon 20th Jan 1.30 - 2-45, Meadowbank Community Centre. Come and see what it is like! Contact me - the first session free, then Koha welcome. 021 255 1485

Click Read More to find out more about what I do - I also offer one-on-one sessions and custom courses for group bookings.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
