Uplands Kindergarten
Mat time is part of our daily routine at Uplands Kindergarten. We sing songs, have fingerplays and read a big book. William's Wet Week is a favourite book at Uplands Kindergarten. Children reenact our mat times during session. "A benefit of reading books is that it exposes tamariki to words and phrasing that they may not normally head or use in everyday talk" Pg. 26.
